After post conference was over Professor Lugar dismissed the clinical group and we discussed what she wanted me to do. We talked about presenting an article of interest related to an ethical issue in OB. We decided on No Mas Bebes, a documentary on women’s right issues. The documentary tells the story of a small town in California where a small group of Mexican migrant women sued county doctors, the state, and the U.S. government after they were sterilized while giving birth at a Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center during the late 1960s and late 1970s. I’ll be presenting the article on November 9th. This topic sparked an interest for me and I look forward to researching it further. I did not take a lunch break today because we were not there long enough to take
