Serial killers kill to fill power over the victim. A serial killer fills that if they kill someone than they have power over the victim. A serial killer fills that if they kill someone that is the only way that the can feel power. Some killers get a rush after killing their victim. In Conclusion, a serial killer is a person that lacks something in their life. They are trying to get it back by showing power over the victim. They are sick and has some kind of psychological problem. The victimology theory that I would use for Velma Barfield is the lifestyle theory. It seems that Velma was really close to all her victims. She killed people like her mother, husband, and her boyfriend. The people that she killed are the same ones that she cared for. Ted Bundy portrayed a different individual when it came to catching his pray. Ted Bundy preferred little girls and women. Ted would either strangle his victim or beat them to a pulp.
