In relevance to this vocabulary I do not expect to have complications, but if they arise I believe they will either be cultural, in case I am teaching in a country where women don’t drive, or perhaps if the region is remote and the students don’t have access to mainstream media, they might not be familiar with airplanes or boats. I begin the lesson with a song that both allows the students to get back into speaking English, as well as allows for revision of the vocabulary included within.
Then I proceed with revisions of vocabulary from previous lessons. The first vocabulary I wished to review was Actions, I did this with a simple game of Simon Says where the students must also repeat the word. This allows for the practice of both pronunciation and meaning as they must perform the actions. At the start of the game I am playing Simon just so the students see how to play and it also gives me an opportunity to repeat the vocabulary in case they forgot it, this way they aren’t embarrassed when they are summoned to play Simon and don’t know what they are doing. Then I allow the students to lead the game for a bit so that they may practice on their own as this vocabulary ought to have been mastered already. I do not correct every mistake I hear immediately unless it is a big one, but I do mention the common mistakes in the very brief interlude between activities so that the students may
