Working at the Salvation Army requires an eye for detail, a sense of organization, working well with others and more. Working there is not just accepting donations and throwing them in some corner until a truck comes and takes the donations on to the next stop like many may think when the name Salvation Army comes up. I worked at a branch of the Salvation Army in Hamburg, PA and the facility there included a store for the community. I was asked to bring in donations from the designed place just outside the store and sometimes even from the cars of donators depending on the size of the donations.
