For my service project I chose to volunteer at Garvan Woodland Gardens. They just began their Holiday Light’s night on November 22. I signed up to be a door greeter and give directions around the park. I was super excited about volunteering at Garvan Woodland Gardens since I go there almost every year to see their Christmas lights. This year they have over 4 million lights on display. I met with the directed when I arrived and she was really friendly. I was there mostly in the day so I didn’t get to enjoy the sight of the lights, but I did get to meet George, the peacock. I was laughing so hard because they were feeding him Cheetos. Who knew that a peacock would eat Cheetos? The day shift was slow, but I did a lot of housekeeping like washing
