Team Reflective Essay

Looking back at my team’s entire process of the project, I genuinely enjoyed the entire process although there were many ups and downs along the way. When we first got informed about the project, we were all lost and had completely no idea what to do. The leader immediately organized our first meeting to get everyone started with the project. We gave roles in our group and I ensured that they know what their responsibility are.
I find what I did well was being able to communicate effectively with my teammates to achieve better efficiency and teamwork. I send important details of my work to every member via email and inform them through message. I also respect everyone’s ideas and work and give a positive tone when talking to them. So this enables me to work better in my team as we are able to communicate effectively. Throughout the entire process, I learnt that trust, communication and most importantly teamwork is very important. Trust in teammates is something important as successful teamwork is achieved by a foundation of trust. Every member needs to be able to trust his team members to make a contribution to the team and its goals. Communication is necessary within a team. He guides the development of the team and able to pre-empt problems that could happen. Another reason is because we are able to tackle problems quickly. When we notice one teammate that is doing something that is affecting the group’s progress, we act quickly to change it. Lastly, focusing on communication also allow us to work together. If the progress of a project changes, or there is something important to announce, we let teammates know quickly. In that way, we ensure that everyone is on track of the same
