The pillars of National Honor Society, Scholarship, Service, Leadership, and Character, have greatly influenced my goals and self-expectations. Throughout my academic career, I have been fortunate to grasp new concepts quickly without much effort. Despite how blessed I am to have this ability, I do not rely solely on its advantages. I enjoy fully understanding new concepts, not simply learning enough to achieve an A. In this way, I believe I do pursue the quest for knowledge, rather than just the reward and thereby have implemented the Scholarship pillar in my education.
