This disorder is sensitive to me because of my past brother’s condition, but was interesting in the way that a behavior can be observed and defined. Through my elementary logic, I saw his behavior as being only bad, which I mistaken as intentional harm, but I now understand that somethings are without control and he was the result of a mental disorder. I do not believe Tyler was ‘different from the rest of us’ because there is no ‘rest of us.’ Tyler was different from me, as I am different from you, but holding similarities along the way. Normal does not exists but the understanding of a condition could do that very thing for the individuals observing it, which is, condition your understanding of what to expect and how to acknowledge the signs. Bipolar has ‘highs-and-lows’ where depression and rage become all too familiar. Lack of sleep, irregular eating habits, and elevating or descending mood swings were some of the signs pertaining to the disorder. To know is not to understand, but a guide towards connecting with this individual and attempting to better their well-being. I do not believe that psychology holds all of the answers when peering into a persons psyche, but I do believe that it is a step in the right direction. Some experiments, done on rats, dogs and plants, could be more-so avoided, but I do not wish to pursue this field anymore than I already have. Maybe through
