You were a little quite on Wednesday in the first part of the IQ sessions but opened up more in the second half. However on Friday your participation was more even throughout. You did very nice board work; I liked how you engaged the entire group in labeling your drawing not because you did not know but because you wanted more people to participate in the discussion. Importantly, few times you went back to the case making connections between discussed material and patients symptoms described in the case. We definitely need to do this more often. You also had a very nice case presentation this Friday. I am pleased you shared with me in your reflection that you want to advance your case presentation by talking rather than reading. The group energy was much higher and participation in the discussion was much more balanced. I believe this is a result of the positive constructive feedbacks given to the group in our checkouts and an effort of the entire group to implement those feedbacks. I hope it will stay this way in the weeks to come.
For sure you are one of the ‘steering wheels’ of this group and your contribution to its growth is enormous. You are continuously very well prepared and you frequently probe the group with questions to have everybody more involved; yet your participation is just enough. You are also one of few people who cite your resources and share them with the group by adding to the Google drive. As a next step of your development I would encourage you to add some primary literature, find a research article and cite it during group …show more content…
So we need to work on this as a group. But other times I ask the group for specific evaluations and I see that these are extremely important for the growth of the group. After this Monday self-evaluations something really changed, the entire group had much more energy and much more balanced participation on Wednesday and even better on Friday. On Friday we had specific peer-to-peer evaluation and I hope it was useful to know how other group member perceive your help in the learning process. Last week your contribution was very good, you showed you knowledge both on Monday and Wednesday so it seems to me you review your notes better especially before Monday as you planed to do. I like that you try to encourage other group member to contribute to the discussion either by asking probing questions or clarifying questions. You also tried to call on specific people. Sometimes it works, sometime it does not but it is worth to try. You also provided nice summaries of the discussed material. I am looking forward for your EBIQ presentation on
