Just as soon as I would make a friend , and we had created a bond; I was on the road again moving to a new city. Again, I would be the new kid who had to make new friends all over again. It was difficult because I knew that I would just move away or transfer to a new school within a year’s time. The thought of having to leave was constantly on my mind, which hindered many of my friendships because I stopped trying to make friends all together. I knew that as soon as I would make a friend I would just loose them, so I did not see the point in trying anymore. Even after I came here I still had the same mindset that I would be leaving soon, so there was no point in making friends that I would never keep in touch with when I left. This made me focus a lot more on my school work because even though people will come and go, your education should not be affected by it.
