The mom should have taken time off from work to visit him. After getting out of the hospital, she should have told her husband the closeness Christopher and his dad had. It seemed to be lack of communication with the two of them. I think they could have gotten along better if they discussed what was going on. It was very rude for the mom to move away from her son.
