While reading Shut Up Shut Down by Mark Nowak I really struggled to connect with the book. When it comes to poetic writing, I feel like it is really hard for me to form the connections that actually gives the poetry meaning and value in most cases. Although this was a hard book for me to connect to there were still a few things that I noticed and I feel I am able to elaborate on and go in depth on what I think about them.
