The major difference between us, would be that Kaye attends church every Sunday and I unfortunately do not attend mass. Growing up Kaye didn’t have a choice to attend church on Sunday as it was required by her parents, as for me it was not necessary that I go. Another huge difference is that I had my first child at the young age of 15 out of wedlock and although Kaye does not have any children she did not live with her now husband until they married in October. Kaye is 27 years old and wasn’t even allowed to sleep over at her husband’s house before marrying him. He could sleep over at Kaye’s parents although he did have to sleep on the sofa, I think a relationship like theirs is very hard to come by these days. I think the main reason I confide in Kaye and trust her judgement is because no matter the kind of day we experience, whether it bad or good Kaye still seems to find the positive in every situation. I truly admire her for that. I on the other hand sometimes get frustrated with the little things in life. At those moments, I know I can fall back on Kaye and she will always find the words that make my day that much better. I believe that is the true meaning of our friendship.
