Reflection On Rhetoric

Looking back onto my first day off class, I realize how my knowledge has grown immensely. I am now able to take the lessons I learned in class and apply my new knowledge in all situations of writing. To begin, the class strongly focused on rhetoric, therefore, my understanding of rhetoric expanded greatly. I can now apply rhetoric strategies, such as appealing to pathos, to a variety of genres because of my experience in writing expository, persuasive, and academic pieces. With my new understanding of rhetoric I am able to support my claim and organize my argument to appeal to the audience and be the most effective. Learning the different genres of writing and how to engage a specific audience helped me become a better writer because I can
