Thursday and Friday, I worked in the office. I’m learning how to make phone calls for prescription refills. The prescription refills are for the evaluation and treatment for each patient. Also, I laminated various activities for speech therapy. These activities involved critical thinking and social skills. I was not aware that speech therapy evaluated these types of skills. Moreover, I’m also learning that speech therapist evaluates social language skills, stuttering, and fluency in speech. These three things are only a few of the aspects that speech therapist assist with. Working in the office, has also helped me to come out of my comfort zone.
