Class Reflection: Improving Learning Patterns

First off I would like to explain what this class is about. This class teaches you about your learning capabilities. How do you learn, how do you use your learning patterns, how to improve or start using your Critical Reading, Thinking, and Writing Skills, and how to improve your Learning Patterns. These learning patterns are Sequence, Precision, Technical Reasoning, and Confluence. With these Learning Patterns, you can tell if you are a Dynamic, Bridge, or a Strong-willed Learner. Then you will be able to figure out if you need to Forge, Intensify or Tether your Learning Patterns. You will also learn how to decode tasks to help you understand what each assignment is asking you to do. I don 't believe my views of learning had changed, but my learning capabilities has expanded. I had said that Learning to me means a study of skills and knowledge. I had learned that I am a Strong-willed Learner, and i had learned how to improve my learning. All I must do is stick to it.

Surprisingly it was not like that at all. You were learning about…you. The most enjoyable thing about Personal Dimensions of Education (EXP 105) was learning about how I learn and how to fix it. It was great to know that I am not the only one to feel how I felt about learning. I wouldn’t change anything about this class. I feel like Instructor William Fogarty did a tremendous job. I would like to add something though; it would be nice to have a little fun by doing a small project. By doing this will also help communicate with other students and with the instructor. It will teach how to socialize and communicate, I believe it will also teach that you can easily communicate with one another ever though you’re in different cities or
