I want to given my opinion of Liberty University. First off as a helpful note when you first recognize a red flag please do yourself a favor and run. Unfortunately, I tried to stick with the school because all of the classes are bases on Christain worldview, which I feel is pretty awesome. However, I should have found another school after I noticed that after transfering from Walden University my GPA- {DID NOT} transfer with me. I recently attended a Liberty University Convocation that really spoke to me while attending College For a Weekend. While I sat in the Vines’ Center seats, I listened to Donald Miller talk about the four kinds of people in a story: the victim, the villain, the hero, and the guide. I personally feel that my trials through life were given to me so I could fulfill the role of a guide in my life and others. My perspective is not commonly found in society today and I have a strong desire in my heart to help. I believe that Liberty University can help me grow and develop leadership skills to become what God has intended me to be to glorify him while helping others in their own individual lives.…

Electing to attend Multnomah University has been both a rewarding and challenging experience. Throughout my college years, my professors modeled how to live a biblical worldview as I studied Bible, Theology, Greek and Hebrew. Because of those teachers, I learned how to study the Bible and the importance of practicing what I preach. The classroom cultivated an excitement to learn the truth and minister it to others. Upon graduation from Multnomah University, my parents rewarded me with a trip to Israel.…

I am currently a senior in the Helms School of Government at Liberty University. I found out about your Global Internship Program through Dr. Cox who teaches my Corrections class. After doing research on your website I was very impressed. Being able to practice the skills that I have learned over the years such as government relations and disaster response, while implementing my Christian worldview in serving others would be an amazing experience. I would be a great addition to your team because of my past experience with serving on mission’s trips, living in a foreign country for a year and a half, and being on Liberty University’s student leadership team.…

It was the first day of my second year in Tomball ISD. I walked into my second period, Texas History, with a Mrs. Brough. At first glance, Mrs. Brough seemed to be a little too excited and the state of her desk with several coffee mugs seemed suspicious. It was in this unorganized classroom and with this giddy teacher that I found my love of history. Mrs. Brough was a short and stout woman who never stopped smiling.…

Personal Philosophy of the Student Affairs Field Reflecting on my personal college experience and those of my peers, I believe that the field of Student Affairs provides a unique and even essential opportunity to help shape the experience that student’s receive within the university setting. I strongly believe that students gain more from their college experience learning and growing outside of the classroom rather than inside. Self-discovery and personal exploration through extra-curricular activities and interpersonal interactions guide students through their academic careers and develop who they wish to become as an adult facing the “real world.” Student Affairs professionals help to ensure that each student begins their track to self-discovery…

Coming to the conclusion that I would like to transfer from Temple University was a hard and heartbreaking decision, but I felt it had to be done. The sense of community and the support on campus was positive and I’d love to see that in the school I attend in the fall. I admire how close-knit Temple is despite its size. However, the size of the school has been an issue in the aspect of the university's overall organization. There was no entrance exam for Mandarin Chinese, and when I tried to be placed into a higher Mandarin class I was told to meet with several different people and there was a lot of miscommunication.…
