The goal of this assignment was to reflect on the beliefs about teaching, beliefs about learning and the beliefs about effective teaching and learning strategies. This was executed to see whether our beliefs have change or not after sources of information were given to me from the previous seminar and the class sessions.
My beliefs about teaching have not change because in this profession you must have patience, be caring and interact with the students. Students are there to learn and

Due to pass experiences students were given work in the classroom and were required to do assignments whereas some students did not understand the topic clearly and were not given the opportunity to communicate with the teacher so that they would better understand and as a result of this the students had failed the examination. Every child learns differently so educators are the ones to motivate and assist students to help them believe that they can be successful. For instance some students prefer lessons to be visualized, practical, activities, and projects or even create flash cards. One of the learning processes that benefit the personal growth of the child helps you to observe the student strengths and weaknesses. Amongst working in groups it allows students to gain knowledge about different cultures, values and views of fellow colleagues. A difference can be made in the lives of the learners and society by taking the time to educate the children and ensuring that each child receives proper education to be successful in the future. Giving the students the opportunity to make assumptions on …show more content…
Some incentives to teachers are that explanation of topics should be clearly in order for students to comprehend, have activities for student to be interacting with both classmates and teachers. Training students to ask questions to comprehend is an important key, also having them question their knowledge to see which learning style is preferred. Challenge students by making them active and allow them to brain storm in order to solve problem. Reflect to improve lessons if it were not successful.
In conclusion, to this assignment I have learnt that becoming a teacher is a great responsibility in the lives of the students. I believe that each child should be treated equally with the right amount of attention and teachers should reflect positively in the lives of the

First of all as a future educator, I have learned many lessons from my observations. Student’s teacher relationship and communication is the major keys to be a successful and trustful teacher. Academic knowledge is also very important, but most importantly if communication between students and the teacher will fail, there would not be any motivation for education. As a person and a mother, I realized that the teacher is the mother of all students when they are in school. Parents should teach their children about importance of education, their behavior, tolerance and respect toward their teachers. This is the major analysis I made form my service earning…

Teaching is providing principles. One thing that has changed is, I believe teaching is helping students grow and meet their potential. I still believe teaching is modeling and building a relationship with the students. This helps the students become confident that they are able to meet their potential. I believe learning is having an open mind. However, I believe that, if a student understands the information being taught than they have moved past memorization. I also believe that learning is being able to apply what one understands to the real world. Bloom is one theorist who would support this because of his theory Depth of Knowledge. I believe that students learn from asking questions. I also believe that they learn by discovering new things. I believe this because I do not think learning comes from just reading a book. Vygotsky and Piaget would support this because they believe students learn from watching others and actually participating. I still believe a teacher knows when a student has learned something when the student is able to hold a discussion about a certain topic. However, I believe that the teacher can tell a student has learned a concept or skill when a student can successfully show his/her…
