When I started attending Northern Virginia Community College, I joined the Black Student Alliance(BSA). My perception of this club had nothing to do with reality. I thought it was a club made to bring awareness of what is happening in the world in general and in the black community in particular. Unfortunately, it was more about personal issues they were facing and making friends.The semester after, I applied to be a board member. The president of the club appreciated my ideas and named me Vice-president. My goal was to create a completely new concept in the club.
