1. As I approach the end of my placement I feel like I am ready to leave because I have learned the role and responsibility of a foster care social work intern. Before beginning this internship I developed a learning contract. Not only have I satisfied all my objectives, but have done more than what is on my plan. I learned how the foster care system function and its discrepancy in its arrangement. Knowing this information will allow me to rally for legislation that could possibly change or aid the system. In addition, I feel satisfied because I fulfilled all my duties to the best of my ability, no matter what the task was at hand. I feel satisfied with what I have learned in this placement and feel competent of fulfilling the role of a foster
