These monkeys were obtained from their mothers at a very young age. We are unclear how they were separated from their mothers but it has already been done. Now they are raised with fake mothers. This is all done to find the importance between security and food. Ethics are important due to the fact they limit what we are willing do, but it also limits the amount of information we can find due to these limitations.They affect every aspect of an experiment that involves a living subject. Experiments done in the past are to be found highly unethical, however if they were not done during that time period, would we still have the same information we have today? There is a lot of things people find to be wrong yet say nothing about it. Unless it affects them as a personally, they do not do much about it. One example are people who are homeless. Hundreds of them live in the cities where people are all thriving and having the time of their life. Society feels bad for them. We all think their situation is terrible and that they should not have to live like this. But the thing is, we walk by them more often not and think about how unfortunate they are, yet we do nothing about it. We think of some many excuses in our head why we can not help help them. The saying “It is the thought that counts” comes into play, however this does not help the person. It may make you feel better but it does not help those in the unfortunate situation. Going from this, it is the same with the class. We see the animals being mistreated and our ethics tells us that this is wrong. We know this constantly go on globally and we feel bad for the animals. But then again, we do not do anything about it. The thought that we should help is satisfies our
