This trust is built over time, but this will require interaction, such as: meetings face to face, phone calls, emails, and conferences. The best form of interaction for parents in my opinion is phone calls or texting, because they can be occur daily and regularly. Working at getting to know my students as individuals is an important start. To find out their interests it is usually a good idea to initiate this with some form of discussion or student survey. As the teacher, I would utilize both of these. First, my students will fill in a survey asking what they are interested in (i.e., what are your hobbies, interests, favorite subjects, and favorite books, etc.). Next, my students will pair up with a student in the class and share their surveys and after each interaction the students will continue to rotate until they have met every student in the class. This will initiate peer interaction and facilitate social comfort for the students. Afterward, I will collect these papers and use them to review each student’s profiles to better understand each student in the class. Each day in class, I will present the current events with the classroom sharing what happened such as sporting news, TV events, school activities, and changes in politics. These topics will engage students in what is happening in the world and also will allow them to share ideas and thoughts. This activity will get students to share what 's on their minds, they will begin to see I am not just another adult, but someone who is genuinely interested in
