I found that Reading, watching movies, and taking courses with my own time and money would be the most effective way to improve my English skills. I started to read some books and novels. The one I liked the most, was Around the World in Eighty Days, it was very interesting which made me excited to learn every single word in it. I continually watched the TV series Friends, which helped me a lot in improving my skills. I enrolled in an online program in a university. It was distance learning. I just had to go for the final tests. But my work management refused to give some time to go; even though, I asked to take it from my own leave days` credits. I had the passion to study English and be as good as the others, but the work management got in my way and shut the doors in my face. I considered coming to the US to study. I was very excited, and impulsive. I asked my family and close friends for some advice. They said “you are going to take the best step in your life. It is never too late, you still can do it.” They motivated me a lot. I had saved some money to help me in the US until I would get a scholarship. “Am I going to regret this step in the future?” This was the easiest question from many other questions which were running in my mind. The decision was made. The bags were packed on. Nothing was going to stop me from doing what I would do in that
