Since there are two ELL students whom Spanish is their first language, the english speaking students will understand the importance of how learning a different language may not come as easily as learning your first. By having the Spanish students learn the colors in english and the english students learning the colors in Spanish, we will all feel like a community because they all will understand how it feels like in the second language learning …show more content…
6 of them being the colors in english, 6 in Spanish and 6 in French. They are scrabbled, but sectioned off per language and the teacher will ask the students one by one to pick a color and find its two matching words in Spanish and French. Then, as a class, we will go over any patterns we see and the students will work with their partners to fill out a worksheet that goes over what we just went over. After the worksheet is collected, the teacher will introduce primary and secondary colors and state which colors are primary and how one accomplishes a secondary color. The students will then be given paints to experiment the colors then begin their painting of a concept of their choice which will include all 6 colors they learned. As the students are painting, the teacher will walk the classroom and ask students what the colors are in other languages and if the color is a primary or secondary color and
