As co-president of Queers and Allies (abbreviated Q + A), I have come across several disputes that have involved more than one teacher and an administrator. It came to the administration’s attention that one of the club members had expressed anger about how the presidents had chosen to present the club at fall fair. Despite the fact that the majority of the students at my school are liberal, the parents tend to be a more conservative crowd. My co-president and I took it upon ourselves to initiate the resolution and emailed our sponsor, the Dean of Students, and the teacher who had explained the student’s worries. We were annoyed the student hadn’t come directly to us, but this gave us the opportunity to show that we could handle any problem
