Clinical Social Work Practice with Families
I define clinical social work practice with families to be the collaboration between the social worker and the family unit, as well as, any other systems that affect the family. The social worker is required to build genuine rapport with the family, assist with identifying their goals, and develop a plan to work towards their goals. I hope to work with Muslim families in a private religious school setting. I believe the school setting is the best place to interact with families and to identify families that are in need of services.
