During the clinical rotations program, I have identified three objectives, which will enable me to be intentional in terms of my learning experience for these next two months. My first objective is in line with MHA Competency 7. The objective is to obtain an understanding of the provider’s perspective of healthcare and of the interaction between the clinical and management function. Career wise, my goal is to become an executive leader in a fully integrated medical center. However, to date, I have no clinical background or exposure to working within an inpatient setting at the point of patient care.
