At the beginning of this term, I was not excited to take Bioethics because it is analytical and you have to use a lot of critical thinking. As the term goes on, I realized that it is not bad at all because it encourages me to be more of a thinker and it let me see the bigger picture of things. My interactions with my instructor and classmates helped me understand the topics in different perspectives. This portfolio is a summary of my progress toward the course goals, which include my own reflection and evaluation of my experiences while taking this course.
Analytical Skill Building In order for me to have analytical skills, I have to improve my critical reading, my writing, and my thinking skills. Sometimes, I find it hard to put my thoughts into writing because I am not a native English speaker. However, I do not make it as an excuse for not doing well in school; rather I take it as a challenge to improve myself, not only personally, but also professionally.
