Step 1. Choice Reflection The goal that is set for my behavior change is a personal choice that will allow me to improve my overall health. My goal to implement more physical activity and to avoid junk food immediately after the action is something that I wanted to successfully accomplish because I believe it will make me feel better. By taking actions for my health, I believe that I am also able to reduce stress from school and work. Some situational temptations that will set myself back from completing the action is how hot or cold it is outside. When it is extremely hot, I feel more lazy and sluggish. I rather be inside with my air conditioning set on high and just be relaxing. If it is cold, I am more likely to stay inside as well. I am tempted to go home, stay in bed, and watch my favorite movies all day. There are many benefits of this certain behavior change and it includes; reducing stress, reducing certain risk of diseases, improving strength in my bones and muscles, and overall improving my health as a whole. Some negatives about this change is missing out on things I use to like doing, such as napping and eating junk food I love. After work or school, I tend to be too tired to exercise and would rather go home and nap instead. Also, the weather helps contribute to feeling tired and lazy. Whether it is extremely hot or cold outside, I rather be laying in my bed. This will be challenging because I will choose what I like rather than what is best. Looking back at the pros and cons, implementing physical activity will give me more energy to be productive rather than wasting my time to sleep. When I take naps, I tend to take hour long naps and will be unable to sleep at night. By making my time count, exercise will improve my sleep quality and my energy
