Due to this curiosity, I form very relevant and informative opinions on which I argue for in my writing. For instance, when writing an essay on The Crucible I argued that the author’s point in writing the text was to warn against and display the negative effects of ideology in retrospect to the context that the author wrote The Crucible. I could have easily taken an easier way out and simply wrote about something simpler, But I didn’t want to because I wanted to challenge myself. I wanted to see if I could actually effectively argue for this idea which we had never once talked about in class. When it comes to reading I basically just love to read, and can do so pretty well. I read a pretty good amount outside of school usually related to politics and history. Reading is also generally my favorite part of English class. I just love to pick up and read books I would never had
