The actual PA program is highly competitive and I must use my skills learned in this class in order to formulate a proper application that will ultimately make me stand out amongst many other applicants. Simple mistakes can be seen as weaknesses when applying for such programs, so my goal is to better understand the simpler aspects of writing. For example, the difference between affect and effect, and how and when to use them. I would also like to learn why the period and comma goes outside of the parenthesis because I just now started noticing that is a thing and considering I am in college, I feel like I should’ve already been taught that. I tend to over analyze some writing assignments and make them harder on myself, which is why the little similarities between words can cause an easy switch up for me. Though I will say my weaknesses pale in comparison to my strengths in which when I write about something that truly interests me, I can write as quickly as the thoughts cross my mind. For example, writing this
