Reflection On A Change Of Heart By John Grogan

In order to most correctly write my memo entitled, “A Change of Heart”, I first, had to read “Marley and Me”, a memo in the form of a novel, by John Grogan. Since I had no prior education, or help, on learning how to correctly write a memo, this book helped immensely. While reading this book I learned literary techniques that helped in the making of this memo. By reading this book before writing my memo, I learned how to pull inspiration and use dialogue in this specific context, use different literary techniques in order to draw the reader into the work, what to talk about, and what not to talk about. While reading the book, “Marley and Me”, by John Grogan, I learned that in order to help the memo flow better I would have to pull inspiration from my life. I learned how to use different literary techniques like how to transfer into dialogue. Different words were very effective in helping the memo flow better. In the memo I had to learn how to use diffent words in transition sentences. Continuously talking about the same thing and giving the reader all of the information as to what was going on would bore them, as I learned in reading the book, “marley and me”, by John Grogan. Instead of focusing on the sad aspects of the story I needed to keep the story upbeat and happy in order to keep the reader engaged and draw them more into the story. The topic of Love needed to be shown throughout the work. I had to figure different ways of how tpo put the idea that love should nbe thorn out to just anyone it should be saved for those you truly love. Throughout the story I had to d9oscreetly put emphasis on this. Lastly I realized that in the end I had to tie up all the loose ends and summarize how this event ultimately changed my
