STORYLINE AND CONTEXT:

In the movie of “the pursuit of happiness” we see the story of a young boy and his father going through the worst parts of life where people couldn’t imagine being in the same situation. In the movie, we are shown how the two struggle in their lives to survive and thrive in the society they are in as the two of them are left homeless for nearly a year, living off of small amounts of money made through selling the portable bone scanner that he has invested all of his money in and is the reason they have become bankrupt. They move around homeless shelters and stay wherever they can until something changes for the two of them, through all of this the man named “Christopher Gardner” takes good care of his son doing everything he can to ensure that they get a better life. There’s a change in the movie where we see Chris take up a place as an intern of a company to try and earn a job at the firm as a stock broker. We see his dedication and commitment as he studies day in and day out

This movie is related mainly to the topic of *entrepreneurship that we learn about in our business studies book as well as *advertising in the sense that he had to showcase his product of the bone scanner as well as getting clients for his internship program challenge. We also learn about the *ethics and morals of the workplace and is seen in the movie when he has to wear a suit to work every day, be punctual, and work hard. And lastly, we can see examples of *marketing research when Chris asks questions to find out what people want, what attracts them and also who the target market is from small to big corporate
