This room is dimly lit, with heavy influences of deep and dark colors such as red and black. The garden mural in this room looks as if everything is in decay, or evil, even the depicted animals seem evil. Next to it are plaques explaining the introduction of sin into the world, the aspects of the curse, the protevangel and an explanation as to why God allow sin into the world and why the righteous suffer. Furthermore, a lit panel entitled “Universal Disorder” is featured which describes Genesis curse brought to earth due to sin. This panel also features a collage of “sinful” sadden experiences the world has faced since then such as starvation, slavery, divorce, Hitler’s reign, sickness, violence, alcoholism and the shunning of the Christian faith in society. There is also a dimly lit display boxed entitled “Death & Decay” that displays human and animal skulls. This exhibit provides information surrounding the causes of the flood, the purpose of the ark and displays the book the Genesis Flood by John C, Whitcomb and Henry M. Morris for further reference. Next to this information is a display box describing ancient flood histories and their effects all over the world. Furthermore, the room includes a glassed enclosed 3D scaled model of Noah’s Ark for visitors to view. Behind this display box are numerous panels of information regarding the stability and ability of the ark. The right wall presents the numerous accounts of supposed sighting of Noah’s Ark although its remains continue to be a mystery at large. This exhibit actually resembles the depiction of the inside of the ark. Visitors can see stables, hay on the floor and caged small dinosaurs. Next, museum visitors walk into the next room, which has an extensive Mount St. Helen display and interactive video display that provides evidence for the flood’s occurrence. Adjacent is the dinosaur display of life size of allosauruses and actual fossilized dinosaur bones. Next to the display are a series of interactive questions that seem catered to children but also very informative for adults as well providing information on whether dinosaurs were killed in The Flood, if they lived after the flood, changed into bird and why they became extinct.
