1- I want to remember the goal I set at the beginning of the semester to continue to work on the five things the Bishop challenged each family in our ward to do this year; which are to have daily personal and family prayer, to have daily personal and family scripture study, to have weekly Family Home Evening, to attend the Temple regularly, and to never miss a Sacrament Meeting. I just want to find a way to be more equally balanced at home without nagging and tearing my husband down. Elder Bednar describes a relationship as a triangle with the Lord at the top and the man in one corner and the woman in the other corner. As we each draw closer to the Lord, we will draw closer to each other. I hope to take this concept to the out-of-balance feelings that I have and improve my family relationships.
5- I want to remember my interview with Don & Darlene Miller and what they taught me. I value their insight to take what was good from our parents, keep that, and then add to it. With the goal to be better parents then ours were and hope that our children become better parents then we are.
6- I want to remember the questions I began pondering in lesson 7: 1- In the daily grind of life how do I nourish physical attraction and spiritual attraction? 2-With the demands of motherhood and fatherhood weighing on our shoulders, how can I treat my husband like a father, my husband, and my boyfriend all at the same time?
