Throughout my short time in love class I have truly enjoyed every moment of the class. I have been able to learn many interesting things about love that I had never thought about prior to this class. Before this class began I knew what John 3:16-17 said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” Coming into this class I realized that these were some of the most important verses of the Bible, because it showed us how much God loved us. After reading this book and studying for this class I realized that from the start God has always …show more content…
While reading this passage I noticed that the first two steps have already happened. In that God has already affirmed us and is willing to receive us in his love. The other five steps in the theology of love must come from us I believe. Steps three and four are the most important and crucial of any of the steps because it says that we must accept God’s love, and we affirm God. Without these two steps then never truly understand how great God’s love is because we have shut him out of our lives. I think I struggle with this the most in my life and I’m not always sure why I’ve struggled with it. As I have gone through this class and through this book I realize that my relationship with God has grown in a positive way. I realize that God has always loved us and wants us to love him back in the same manner that he loves us. My job has a Christian is to show the world the importance of God’s love no matter the circumstance. If God did not love us then he would not have sent his son to save us from the sin that we as humans live in. God’s love is what we has humans try to achieve and maintain everyday of our lives. By doing this we are able to show the world that love can conquer all and it is more powerful than anything humans have encountered if we are able to use it
