On Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at approximately 3:15, I was informed by my administrator; Mrs. Noel, that there was a sexual assault allegation lodged against me. My initial reaction; undoubtedly was one of great concern on many levels. My concern did not lie within the confines of the allegation; but that my character had been assassinate and I was now the victim of hainees circumstances. That following Wednesday morning I addressed my principal with my concerns and indicated I wanted the opportunity to speak to someone in Employee Relations. This is where my situation escalated from concern, to disappoint and despair. She indicated the earliest she would be able to meet was possibly Thursday. I then informed her how this entire situation caused me a great deal of distress and I was not in a position to perform my duties; therefore needing to take the day off. I then asked about paid administrative leave of absence. Mrs. Arneetee indicated this was not a possibility; which I could not clearly understand. I then asked if I could speak to her supervisor, and then from my perspective, Mrs. Arneetee discontinued the conversation by abruptly hanging up. I immediately called her back and the secretary indicated she was in a meeting. Unfortunately, when I arrived at Employee Relations no one was available to meet with me; so I left my concerns with the secretary; who indicated Mrs. Johnson would be giving me a call back.
