Bettye and I applied in the class room was a supportive leadership. Working with small children can be very difficult. This was the most important leadership style we used in the class. A lot of the class room activities required reading, but some of the students did not know how to read well. Some of them expressed frustration for this reason. Our supporting concept was to establish a goal to help those who needed assistance on how to read. We would pair the students into groups of two members. Usually one person in the group could read better than the other person and would help each other. In the class room, we used reward power to motivate the student. I worked there as a teller. There were only two leadership styles my branch manager used. The first style was the achievement-oriented leadership. Angela set challenging goals and she communicated high standard expectations for every employee. Over the time, I noticed my expectations were a little higher than everyone else. We were expected to sell bank products to every customer. As we all know, People do not like to buy anything extra than what they need. I worked in the drive thru window which made it harder to sell anything to those people, because they were in a hurry that is why they drove in the drive thru instead of coming inside the branch. Nevertheless, Angele set my goal to sell at least five bank products each day. The teller inside the branch only had to sell two bank products. At times, I thought Angela was being unfair but I realized why she set the challenges at a different level. She told me I was very persuasive and knowledgeable of all the bank products. I knew she counted on me the most and I had to work twice as hard to help meet our branch
