Below I shall describe every part of my work in detail
1.11 I Used the Concession Agreement and the contractual obligations that come with it to set up an Annual Maintenance Schedule which serves as a guideline for all the maintenance works, this is further analyzed to a monthly and weekly schedule and finally comes down to the daily schedule in which I designate the proper personnel, equipment, vehicles and materials.
1.12 I plan Regular works through this schedule, consult the corresponding Maintenance Manual for the mandatory steps that have to be done, I make sure that the necessary materials and equipment are available and finally I designate the appropriate personnel for the job, and I give to the foreman in charge precise instructions,

I plan and perform through this schedule inspections that can be from simple visual inspections performed weekly such as an inspection for damaged guardrails, up to a detailed inspection with specialized instruments, such an inspection is the measurement of the retroreflection properties of road signs for which I use the Delta RetroSign GR3 Retroreflectometer a portable field instrument and I measure the value RA (coefficient of retroreflected luminance).I perform such detailed inspections once a year. Upon review I draw up the budget by analyzing every aspect of the design.
1.20 The main component of every road is the pavement and it’s my job to ensure the integrity of the pavement infrastructure, I accomplish that by inspecting visually the pavement constantly and conducting were necessary tests and measurements such as skid resistance, evenness and collection of core samples for strength testing. Whenever my team or a subcontractor performs pavement maintenance works I take samples of the asphalt used and send it to the laboratory to confirm and ensure that the materials are as specified.
1.21 Some works on the project are carried out by subcontractors for logistics and financial reasons or because special equipment is required, I prepare the relevant Tenders and participate in the evaluation committee; I supervise their works to ensure that they fulfill all their contract obligations in terms of safety, work methods, materials and time schedule. Also I liaise between them and authorities e.g. Traffic
