My primary goal of taking this class was to improve my English speaking. I major in English Education but I have a lack of confidence speaking English. All of the students should face the embarrassing moment which people usually don’t want to go through. I think it is a good chance to exaggerate facial expression without caring about what we look like and try whatever we want to do. Moreover, performing a summary of a movie without talking was very interesting and also hard. It was a good practice for upcoming movement scene. It was hard to pick impressive moments that everyone would understand and to show the whole movie with just 2-3 actors. Mirror activity, which each people should imitate their own partner, was hard for me and I didn’t really understand how this activity helped us practicing acting. If it’s an exercise of imitating other’s facial expression or creating our own way of explaining specific situation, I would think it might help acting. However, it was a creating a movement that a partner can easily follow so it was hard for me to understand the point of
