First, l am thankful for all who have contributed to seeing me to the end. I also hope to continue to reflect on myself whether by journaling, volunteering and other activities to promote quality of care using evidence based practice in my clinical experience. The fact that the program was online worked for me, as it gave me the flexibility and time to complete all class work on time. Since researching this topic, my nursing practice has changed in the way that I interview, assess, and treat my clients. Throughout my education in nursing school I was always taught a more holistic approach, however I was never truly conducting my assessments and interviews with clients within this matter. I am always respectable and caring towards clients, but in my past practices within clinical, my focus was primarily on the disease process and preventing the disease from worsening.
