This past week was very similar to the on one previous do to the fact that my job revolves around the dispensing of patients immunization records. Upon getting a better feel for the Illinois Department of Public Health I started to understand some of the misconceptions that the public have the I-Care Program. A lot of people call assuming that I-Care is some mega database that has every shot administered to an individual is somehow stored in this I-CARE database, this is definitely not the case. What most do not know nor understand is that medical doctors were no obligated to insert one’s shots into I-Care until 2010.
