Already the instructor is aware this summer class was fast-paced; instead of sixteen weeks, the summer class has ten weeks, so many students were crushed and burned out. In this short period, the subject focused on the purpose of writing for different audience. Students were also encouraged to use various tools like, “Brainfuse,” Tutoring Lab and My Writing Lab, so as to improve the skills needed to communicate effectively. Overall, the class was not totally new but the approach was different in some cases.
