To me I always thought it was about inspiring others to work towards a common goal while respecting each person role. I did not know that there was two different types of love; the first that Mr. Hunter gathers from Vince Lombardi is that “Lombardi clearly understood the distinction between the love of feeling (emotion) and the love of the will (volition). (Hunter, 2004, pp. 84-85) This was the first time that I had thought of love in this context, because I knew when I worked with my co-workers that I did not love them. Though there seemed to be a connection that even though I didn’t love them emotionally like my husband; I still genuinely cared for their best interest, and how we all performed the job together for the betterment of the patient. This was the very definition volitional love was the willingness to be attentive to others even when I am not having the best of days; the practice of leaving your outside business out of the work place. This helped me melt into the facility quite nicely; my interest in making sure that my employees are getting the best of their interest, and to know that they have a stable foundation to lean
