Conclusion:
Overall, this nutrition project had an impact on my life. I saw a drastic change from project one to the end of Project two. Looking back on my project one logs, I barely had any type of fruit or vegetables in my diet. I ate a ton of processed food like chicken nuggets or frozen grilled chicken that I could easily throw in the microwave and eat within a minute. For project two, I had a goal in mind to lose two pounds and be on a vegetarian diet. With this goal, I knew that I had to make changes to my diet. Although you may be cutting down on your amount of calories you consume your fat or carbohydrate intake may be drastically higher. This will make it harder to lose weight. It is important that you are getting enough nutrients in your body each day. For instance, if you are not eating enough protein you could develop a vitamin B12 definitely. This can be serious. Also, journaling can help you develop well balanced meals and help you see how far you have come. When I looked back at my journals from project one, I saw a huge change in my diet from then to now. When I was journaling, I wrote down my thoughts, feelings, and emotions about the diet and exercise plan. On bad days, writing down how I felt helped me relieve the stress. If I needed motivation, I looked bad at the good days of the logs to find motivation again. Overall, journaling is important to keep track of how we are doing with our food intake and exercise plan. Journaling gives us a tangible item to hold us accountable for our success and for our failures in our journey to a healthier
