Reflection As The Site Director For The 21st Century

Decent Essays
As the Site Director of 21st Century, I just wanted to inform you on completing the required list of students that would qualify for the 21st Century program. From last year, Tykeem Lewis was one of my students. While completing the list, based on the students academic level, would you consider the student attend the program again this year? I will be putting an application in your mailbox to give to my returning students to take home to complete and return back to me.

I know you was a tutor last year, are you willing to continue or hold off this school year?

He is not one to just go through the motions or let life pass him by, but is focused on taking risks and getting the most out of life and is certainly making the most of his high school career. His zeal for living the American dream is one that Andrew focuses on bringing to life. He is a loyal and caring individual who takes pride in being an “individual,” not swayed by his peers.…

I knew from a young age that teaching was what I was meant to do. Shadowing a teacher for a day in eight grade cemented for me that I was going to be a teacher. While the age of the student I was wanting to teach has changed as I've gotten older that drive to teach has never left. Working as an Educational Assistant at St. Louis Community College has only poured gasoline on that fire and passion for teaching. I can no longer put off pursuing my education to become a mathematics professor.…

I would say a weaknesses of my project is that I didn’t go more depth about the different types of nursing and their rate of pay. Twelve weeks later, my first college writing course completed, and to my pleasant almost surprise, I feel as though I have bettered myself in writing. If you look back at my Mid-term Reflection, walking into my first undergraduate writing class was a little unsettling. Was I going to be totally on top of everything the professor threw at us students or was I going to be completely unprepared? Rhetoric and Composition 103 was neither one nor the other, but a writing class that took what I knew and what I did not to create a well-rounded writer. By the time Mid-term’s rolled around, I could already see a change in my skills as a writer.…

When looking back at this whole semester, I would say that there were a few things that I did learn. Some subjects from the book definitely stood out more than others. A few key things that I can take with myself and be easily remembered. I believe that I have learned quite a few things about myself but more on the subject itself and how to handle certain situations. Taking this class I feel helped me to get a better look on how to deal with other people, learning to react to certain situations, and not everything is in your control.…

My Action Plan During this semester, I have discovered useful information about myself, and as I move forward, I will be using the various learning tools and skills. However, before deciding how to improve my methods of learning plan, I took the time to review my transcripts/advising worksheet. By doing this, it has helped me determine exactly how many credits I have left, along with the type of classes. Including those, which are not part of my core curriculum. I need forty-nine credits overall, I have eighteen scheduled over the next two semesters, which includes the ones I am taking right now.…
