I chose this topic because I think writing is such a crucial curriculum standard for all students to feel comfortable with. I remember in middle school working on the writing process all the way up to even high school. Now I am happy that I had teachers who believed in using the writing process. I feel the writing process has made an impact on my writing as well. This is another reason why I chose this topic. Writing has not always been my strongest asset in school and I always sense anxiety creeping in knowing I have to write a paper. However, the writing process has really helped me feel comfortable with my writing.
