I was born and raised in Ethiopia, Africa. The saying a village rases a child is very true in my situation. My whole block was my family back in Ethiopia. They would make sure I been fed and helped me with anything I nedded. My parents were not afriad of me just wondering the city or staying out late by myself even at the young age of 8. Living in Ethiopia had shaped me as much as living in American has because the amount of time I spent in both countries are the sameas well as the lesson I learned. It was a difficult culture shock when I first moved to America. I was taught to be attentive to my older family memeber and just people that are older than me in general.
