Freshman Reflection

Freshman Composition has resulted in many sleepless nights and has been by far the most difficult class I have ever taken. The class is designed to get a student ready for college life and realize that everything is at a much faster pace with assignments being assigned daily. Throughout this portfolio it should be clear that in the beginning of the semester I had struggled in my writing and have progressively become better as a writer. Personally, the biggest accomplishment for me was to not procrastinate and gain greater word choice to put in my writing pieces. The first is a piece of writing that we were to write about the most successful ways to write an argumentation essay. Before starting this essay, we researched using a few websites that were provided to help us learn more about what is found in an argumentation paper. For this project I feel that I have displayed a good use of reading for information and putting into writing; additionally, adapting to the type of reader in which I was writing to. In this case it was someone who knew nothing about how to write an argumentation essay. I struggled during the first part of the semester on trying to make sure all the work got done and to not become stressed out and overwhelmed. My goals and expectations for the future are nothing but improving and learning newer ways that can help me when writing papers for college. Taking this class would have to be one of the best and worst decisions I have made, do to the long nights full of stress, and the knowledge I have gained from taking the
