Like the others my family an I are extremely close. My parents have always been there to support me and have made so many sacrifices in order for me to have the best opportunities. Like Sophia’s family, mine sits together every night for dinner. To some this might not be important, but for my family it is our chance to take a break from our busy day and share time as a family. Similar to Yoldine, I am the youngest in my immediate family, and am spoiled in ways my older sister was not. My parents were always a little stricter on my sister when it came to things like going out. I guess you can say she paved the way for me growing up. Lastly, like Ernesto I have a big Cuban family. We all come from different walks of life and have different experiences. They have all traveled and sacrificed so much to get where they are today. They have show great strength in all the obstacle they have overcome to get where they are today. I that sense I have been lucky to have had immense stability growing up. My parents planted their roots and have stayed in the same house my entire life. On the other hand, we all have an unbreakable bond with our families. they have proven to be the force behind us all and the reasons we have been so successful thus far. Lastly, we have all found belonging in the teaching profession. There is no better reward than helping others and leaving the world a better place. Our small group, represents the diversity we will find in the world. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind that although we are different, we share so many similarities. When it comes down to it, we are all one and should respect and embrace differences that make each of us uniquely
